At ApexMed Primary Care Shavano, we value your time and prioritize direct, unrushed care guided by our Apex values. All appointments are scheduled by phone to ensure we understand your needs and match you with the right provider.
How to Schedule an Appointment
Our friendly team is ready to assist with new patient intake, existing patient follow-ups, acute visits, wellness exams, Medicare annual wellness visits, or chronic care management. Call us to get started!

- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- After Hours: For urgent matters outside regular hours, please call the same number for instructions.
We typically have same-week or next-week availability for most appointments — call early to secure your preferred time!
For Existing Patients
Log in to your secure patient portal to:
- View upcoming appointments
- Request refills
- Send non-urgent messages to your provider
- Review lab results and visit summaries
- Update your personal information

For New Patients

Pre-Register Online to Get Started
New patients can pre-register through our patient portal to request an appointment and reduce time spent at the clinic. Pre-registering lets you:
- Complete initial paperwork from home
- Upload insurance details and medication lists
- Provide basic health history
This helps us prepare for your appointment so we can focus entirely on you during your visit.
After pre-registering, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to schedule your appointment and confirm any additional details. We’ll guide you through the process and answer questions about what to bring (photo ID, insurance card, medication list, etc.)
Not ready to pre-register yet? No problem — just call us directly, and we’ll walk you through everything over the phone.

Quick Tips Before You Call or Pre-Register
- Have your insurance card ready (we accept most major plans, including Medicare — see full list on our Patient Information page).
- Note any specific concerns (e.g., chronic condition follow-up, medication review, annual wellness, acute illness).
- For geriatric patients or those with complex needs, mention if a family member/caregiver will join the visit.
